Tolerances on outside diameter shall be measured at the welding ends.:
In order to guarantee the regular flow of the fluid through the fitting, the internal diameter in any section of the fitting shall be above 80 % of the internal diameter at the welding ends. :

Out of roundness:
EN 10253-4
The out-of-roundness (0) shall be calculated using the following equation:
0= (Dmax-Dmin)/Dx100
where
0 = out-of-roundness, in percentage;
Dmax = max. outside diameter D measured in the same plane, in mm;
Dmin = min. outside diameter measured in the same plane, in mm;
D = specified outside diameter, in mm.
For fittings of outside diameter D ≤ 406,4 mm, out-of-roundness, shall be included in the limits of the diameter.
For fittings of outside diameter D > 406,4 mm and with D/T less than or equal to 100, out-of-roundness shall not exceed 2 %.
For fittings with a D/T ratio > 100 the values for out-of-roundness shall be agreed at the time of enquiry and order.
The out–of–roundness on the body of the fitting shall not exceed 4 %.
DIN 2605 (DIN 2609)
The out-of-roundness, R, as a percentage, shall be calculated from the following formula:
R = 200 x (Dmax-Dmin)/(Dmax+Dmin)
where D max, is the greatest outer diameter, and D min is the smallest outer diameter, measured in one plane.
For fittings of outside diameter D ≤ 200mm, out-of-roundness, shall be included in the limits of the diameter.
For fittings of outside diameter D > 200 mm, out-of-roundness shall not exceed 2 %.
The out–of–roundness on the body of the elbow shall not exceed 4 %.
Out of squareness:
*** DIN 2605, subject to agreement can be reduced to 0,5 % with a maximum of 0,5 mm.

Type A fittings have the same wall thickness at the welding ends as a pipe having the same specified wall thickness. Their resistance to internal pressure is, in general, less than that of a straight pipe with the same dimensions.
Type B fittings, showing increased wall thickness at the body of the fitting, are designed to resist the same internal pressure as a straight pipe with same dimensions.
Tint is the increased wall thickness on the intrados of elbows type B.
