Properties and main applications

* Alloy 602 CA is a high-carbon nickel-chromium-iron alloy with additions of the micro-alloying elements titanium and zirconium together with aluminium and yttrium. It exhibits excellent creep properties and resistance to oxidation at higher temperatures, even under cyclic conditions. It also possesses very good high temperature corrosion resistance in carburizing and oxidizing/chlorinating media. It is approved for pressure vessels with service temperatures up to 1150°C (2100 °F). * Environmental technology, chemical industry, flue gas desulphurating plants, waste incineration plants.
