Properties and main applications

* It is a nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloy with an exceptional combination of high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance up to 1100°C (2000°F). The high nickel and chromium contents make the alloy resistant to a variety of both reducing and oxidizing media. The aluminium, in conjunction with the chromium, provides oxidation resistance at high temperatures. * Components for gas turbines (ducting, combustion cans and transition, rings), components for furnace (muffles, radiant heater tubes, heat-treating baskets), heat exchangers, components of power-generating plants fossil fueled or nuclear (heat exchangers for high temperature gascooled reactors
